Description:
NF-κB (nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells) is a protein complex that controls transcription of DNA, cytokine production and cell survival. CBL0137 activates p53 and inhibits NF-kB with EC50s of 0.37 μM and 0.47 μM in the cell-based p53 and NF-kB reporter assays, respectively. It functionally inactivates the facilitates chromatin transcription complex, driving the effects on p53 and NF-κB and promoting cancer cell death.
