Sandoz is one of the largest manufacturers of generic pharmaceuticals as well as pharmaceutical and biotechnological active ingredients. The company develops, manufactures and markets approximately 1100 high-quality, low-cost pharmaceuticals in more than 160 countries - from standard generics to complex value-added products.
One focus is on the production of so-called differentiated products. These include biosimilars and injectabilia, which are developed and produced in the Austrian Competence Centers. With the Kundl site, Sandoz is also one of the world's leading manufacturers of antibiotics and has the broadest anti-infectives portfolio in the industry.
