Powmet, Inc. is a trading & processing company and acts as agents for other companies involved in minor, refractory and specialty metals and chemicals. Powmet is a supplier and processor for specialty consumers worldwide and is involved primarily in the uncommon metals and chemicals of Co,Mo,Ni,W,Ta,Nb and V as well as others. Headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, Powmet maintains a processing facility and warehouse in this location and utilizes warehouse facilities worldwide. Sales and Trading offices are located in Rockford, Illinois and Denver, Colorado. The Powmet staff has more the 75 years experience in the production and sales of the metals and chemicals of those elements noted above. In addition, Powmet is the sales agent for The Chem-Met Company, one of three US producers of Sodium Molybdate. Powmet also owns 50% of AAA Molybdenum Products, Inc., a Broomfield, Colorado, producer of reagent grade and specialty and high purity Molybdenum chemicals used in the chemical industry. AAA is headed by Dr. Roger Sebenik, President, who has experience with both Climax and Cyprus Minerals. His experience ranges from management of research facilities through product development and sales. Tom Millensifer, Vice President and Technical Director of Powmet has near 50 years experience in the production and sales of Molybdenum and Rhenium chemicals.
