Company Profile
In 1927 the pharmacist Julius Wolf founded Nordmark Werke, now based in Uetersen near Hamburg, Germany. Biologicals were the company's business right from the start. Continuous improvement is a distinguishing feature of Nordmark products to this day. Nordmark continuously produces new and improved products based on in-house development know-how, science and technology, keeping pace with ever changing regulatory requirements.
The main active drug substance produced in Uetersen is pancreatin, an extract containing vital digestive enzymes obtained from porc pancreas glands. Nordmark has served the healthcare community with this product for three decades.
