LANXESS nv has two branches in the Antwerp port area, where rubber chemicals and intermediates are made for plastics.
At ARLANXEO Belgium nv in Zwijndrecht, butyl rubber is produced. The factory in Zwijndrecht belongs to ARLANXEO, the joint venture with Saudi Aramco.
With over 1,200 employees and five factories, Belgium is one of the most important production sites within the LANXESS Group. Since the establishment of LANXESS in 2004, the Group invested approximately 700 million euros in Belgian activities.
