In 1922 founded as the electric Kempten (ESK) in Bavaria Kempten, 3M Technical Ceramics develope and produce Technical ceramics and coatings for customers in virtually all key industries. The company has established itself as one of the world's leading provider of high-performance ceramics for decades. Based on many years of success is the broad knowledge of materials and the passionate - technical, scientific as use-specific - dealing with the material. With this expertise, the company has been able to shape the development of high-performance ceramics in the 20th century decisively.
