Torezolid phosphate is a novel oxazolidinone for gram-positive infections, with IC50 of 8.7 μM and 5.7 μM for monoamine oxidase (MAO)-A and MAO-B, respectively. It is commonly used for the treatment of acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI) caused by several Gram-positive bacteria.
