Ammonium persulfate is a white crystallized powder.Soluble in water.Decomposes slowly and liberates oxygen when meeting moisture.Decomposes completely when heated at v2odegree C,and liberates amount of oxygen gas heat. Specific gravity:1.982A is used as initiator for the polymerisation of monomers and as a strong oxidizing agent in many application. Ammonium persulfate has the particular advantage of being almost non-hygroscopic, of having a particularly good storage stability as a result of its extremely high purity and of being easy and safe to handle.
