Ginsenoside F4 is extracted from the root of Panax ginseng C. A. Mey. It has inhibitory effect on human lymphocytoma JK cell by inducing its apoptosis. It was found to strongly inhibit activation of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase in signal transduction pathways.
