Description：

Tartaric acid alias 2, 3- two, two hydroxy succinic acid hydroxy succinic acid, grape acid, because it contains the same two asymmetric carbon atoms of tartaric acid molecules, so there are three kinds of isomers of tartaric acid, D- tartaric acid, tartaric acid and tartaric acid DL- L-. Tartaric acid is a colorless transparent prismatic crystal or powder, has a strong taste of sour, slightly soluble in water, in nature, exists widely in many plants in the form of potassium or calcium salts, with more content of grape. When the yellow crystal of the bottom of the wine is used as a raw material for the production of wine, the wine is made from the yellow crystal of the bottom of the wine. Its sour about 1.3 times the citric acid, similar to the use of citric acid, soluble in water, it is suitable for the production of sparkling beverages.


Application:

DL tartaric acid salt is widely used as acidifier food additives, vitamin C effervescent tablets and organic alkali agents (choline bitartrate) etc.. Tartaric acid can form acid salts and neutral salt and alkali. For example, a * with potassium hydroxide and potassium hydrogen tartrate. The latter can be further made of potassium antimony potassium antimony potassium antimony (i.e., * and potassium sodium.
