It is a kind of metallo-organic compound. It is orange yellow powder under room temperature with camphor smell. Melting point=> 172℃ -174℃ ; boiling point=> 249℃ ; insoluble in water, 10% sodium hydroxide and hot concentrated hydrochloric acid; easily soluble in diluted nitric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, benzene, diethyl ether, gasoline oil, diesel oil, tetrahydrofuran.
Uses
As additive of energy-saving smoke abatement and combustion-supporting; added in various fuels, for example, diesel oil, gasoline oil, heavy oil and coal; as additive of rocket fuel, anti-explosive agent of gasoline oil, curing agent of rubber and silicon resin, as ultraviolet light absorber
