HP-70 water repellent is a type of water repellent agent with the following advantages:
- 1. Strong water repellency: HP-70 water repellent can effectively repel water, preventing moisture and water damage to various materials.

HP-70 water repellent is suitable for a wide range of materials, including concrete, brick, natural stone, wood, and textiles. It is commonly used in construction, outdoor furniture, textiles, and other industries.
The usage method for HP-70 water repellent is as follows:
1. Surface preparation: The surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
2. Application: The agent can be applied by spray, brush, or roller. Apply a generous amount to the surface until it is evenly coated.
3. Drying time: The drying time varies depending on the surface and weather conditions. Generally, allow 12-24 hours for the agent to dry.
4. Reapplication: For optimal water repellency, apply a second coat after the first coat has fully dried.
HP-70 is an encapsulated silane in powder form and it produced by spray-drying. It provides outstanding hydrophobizing and water-repellent properties on the surface and bulk of cementitious based building mortars. The active ingredient of HP-70 is released when the mortar is mixed with
water and it subsequently binds covalently to the inorganic mortar matrix. HP-70 is easy to mix during production of cementitious based dry mix products. It improves the water resistance and durability of cementitious based products even at very low dosage. It is also fully efficient in alkaline
medium.

- plasters, renders, joint fillers, sealing mortar-s/slurries
- high degree of hydrophobicity is required with cement-based mortar systems.
Packaging, Storage
Standard packaging: 15 kg paper sacks with polyethylene liners. Or on clients’requirement. Storage: It is recommended to store in a dry location at temperatures below 25°C. Shelf life
6 months from the production date.
Quality, Safety
HP-70 is non-toxic, it can be mixed with other dry additives in all standard compulsory type mixers
to produce cement-based finished products in powder form. The recommended dosage of HP-70 is
between 0.1 and 0.3% (dry) depending on the ultimate requirements on the product. As short a
mixing time as possible is recommendable. |
