Raw materials for the cosmetic, food and chemical industries
BIOCHIM was born in 1956 with the aim of producing and marketing dyes extracted from natural substances for food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical use, in particular chlorophyll and carotene. The range of products was later expanded to include almost all natural food colors, as well as other additives (antioxidants and emulsifiers) and natural extracts. The additives are also sold in the form of semi-finished products, mixed with food substances. In 1960 Biochim began to import raw materials for cosmetic and pharmaceutical use, choosing not basic products but chemical specialties with particular characteristics and not yet present on the Italian market. For over 60 years, the Biochim proprietary family has invested resources to further consolidate its position on the market and has reached the third generation represented by the sole director ing.
