Astragalus complanatus R.Brown is a widely used herbal material in traditional Chinese medicine. The total flavonoid (TF) is an active fraction extracted from seeds of Astragalus complanatus R.Brown. Previous studies performed in animals have demonstrated the antihypertensive efficacy of the TF.
