Description：
Tartaric acid alias 2, 3- two, two hydroxy succinic acid hydroxy succinic acid, grape acid, because it contains the same two asymmetric carbon atoms of tartaric acid molecules, so there are three kinds of isomers of tartaric acid, D- tartaric acid, tartaric acid and tartaric acid DL- L-. Tartaric acid is a colorless transparent prismatic crystal or powder, has a strong taste of sour, slightly soluble in water, in nature, exists widely in many plants in the form of potassium or calcium salts, with more content of grape. Application:
DL tartaric acid salt is widely used as acidifier food additives, vitamin C effervescent tablets and organic alkali agents (choline bitartrate) etc..
