Description:
N-acetyl-D-glucosamine-[UL-13C6] is the labelled analogue of N-Acetyl-D-glucosamine, which is an acceptor substrate for galactosyltransferases. When added to the medium, it improves the recovery of Haemophilus influenza from sputum. It is a competitive inhibitor of β-N-acetylhexosaminidase.
