In 2018, the name was changed from Overlack to OQEMA through rebranding. OQEMA, formerly Overlack - one of the leading distribution companies for basic and specialty chemicals in Germany. Around 1,300 employees work for OQEMA at currently 45 locations in 23 countries. At the interface between chemical manufacturers and chemical processing industries, we cover services along the supply chain: from procurement to product development and individual mixing to logistics and recycling. Particular expertise lies in technical and regulatory support for customers. OQEMA Germany is also the exclusive sales partner of various well-known manufacturers. OQEMA's customers include around 18,000 companies across Europe from a wide range of areas, from life sciences to technical applications to environmental. The OQEMA Group offers a dynamic and constantly growing product portfolio of over 14,000 products. From A for acetone right through to Z for zinc sulphate. Our range consists of several thousand different products, based on either natural or petrochemical raw materials. We distribute our products to almost all industry sectors. Our product range can be broken down into commodities and specialities that need to be explained in more detail.
