Minakem is a unique fine chemical manufacturer specializing in custom manufacturing for the pharmaceutical industry.
With over 50 years experience, our cGMP facility located in the north of France offers a wide range of expertise and experience. Over 25 PhD’s are dedicated to process development, organic synthesis and analysis. SEAC’s strength clearly lies in taking complex, high-value intermediates and API’s from the laboratory and efficiently scaling-up procedures for commercial optimization. Over 70 new syntheses are achieved each year and no 'sample' ever leaves our laboratories without a fully scalable process ready for the plant. Our cGMP kilo lab and pilot plant are fully integrated on-site with commercial operations making total reactor capacity over 150 m3.
With its specific organization of the scientific and technical resources, MINAKEM can achieve efficient scale-up in a timely fashion and deliver process and quantities in compliance with the timing of the development of your new molecules.
Specific technologies include extreme temperature conditions (-100ºC to +300ºC), hydrogenations and reactions under pressure, cyanidiation, chiral and heterocyclic chemistries. In addition to our strong foundation in manufacturing cyclic alkanes, we also are capable of handling specific reagents like Zn(Et)2, NaBH4, BuLi, Br2, Cl2, ClSO3H, NH2,-NH2, and LDA to name a few.
Safety of our employees and care of the environment is also evident and our plant is SEVESO II approved.
Project confidentiality is paramount at Minakem. We have prepared and currently hold 4 DMF's and one VMF's on record. An FDA inspection is scheduled for July 2002.
