DescriptionDSPC (1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine) is a phosphatidylcholine, which is a phospholipid. It is a natural component of cell membranes and can be used to prepare lipid nanoparticles for mRNA vaccines. It forms part of the delivery system of Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines. DSPC is used to produce non-pyrogenic liposomes capable of caging molecules.
