DescriptionCloprostenol sodium is a synthetic and water-soluble aryl-oxymethyl analog of prostaglandin F2α. lt is also a potent inhibitor of rat adipose precursor differentiation in primary cultures. It has luteolytic effects and is used for the synchronization of estrus in cattle. It is also used for the treatment of infertility in sows and gilts.
