Purpose : a strong catalyst with high activities, used for many kinds of organic synthesis. It is used to some extent in pharmaceutical industry (used as special catalyst to produce antibiotics) and chemical industry, esp. in production of cephalosporin (whose effect is better than boron trifluoride ethyl ether complex compound), and also used for most advanced science, such as abstraction of fuel with high energy and of isotope B10 as well as chemical reagent.
