American Dyestuff Corp is a continuation in the dyes, pigment, fluorescent whitener business of the Rabinowitz family, founders of Atlantic Chemical Corp of Nutley, NJ, USA in 1947.
The manufacturing site was eventually sold to Crompton & Knowles (Yorkshire America/DyStar).
Three generations of this family run American Dyestuff under the direction of Josh Rabinowitz, former President of Atlantic.
The company imports/exports/distributes dyes and related colorants and chemicals to all major color consuming industries around the world.
